A decorated ceremonial seat or deity murti shown close up, draped with strands of brown rudraksha beads and white and red flower garlands, with red roses among the white blooms. A golden cobra-hood canopy rises behind, with hanging golden ornaments set with green stones and sprigs of green leaves tucked in. An orange cloth wraps the central form, with a red cloth and a yellow silk drape behind, and a golden base below. No people are visible; the scene reads as a puja or abhishekam arrangement.2011-11-27A dark stone Shivalinga is richly dressed for worship, wrapped in an orange cloth draped across its top and adorned with a gold and jewelled band. Garlands of rudraksha beads, yellow and red marigolds, and green leaves hang around it, and a gold five-headed cobra hood with green stones arches above. A golden shield-like backdrop and a gold base surround the linga. No people are visible, so the image shows a decorated deity murti rather than an in-person or depicted figure.2011-11-15 +1 copiesNovember 27 20112011-11-27November 15 20112011-11-15A close view of a palanquin or ornate golden ceremonial seat draped with white and red flower garlands and dark rudraksha mala strands.
