Long rows of devotees sit on the floor before banana-leaf plates, with water bottles and small bowls set out, many in saffron and orange robes, some with rudraksha malas. On the right, women in white and cream saris and men in white dhotis sit in rows. Near the centre a figure in a red-and-gold robe sits on a gold-trimmed throne on a raised platform, with attendants in white clothes and white head coverings standing around. Several people in white dhotis and white garments are gathered before the platform. A small portrait is visible on the back wall. Most seated people wear white clothing and some wear flower garlands. Several staff in orange and red saris and white shirts walk along the aisles carrying trays and serving food. A red-and-gold ceremonial chair stands at the far end near a small shrine area with a framed picture, and fans and tube lights hang from the high ceiling. A person in a white dhoti stands near the front, and the hall is filled with participants and servers.2009-06-22July 19 20092009-07-19Annadhan in 20132013-01-01 +1 copiesMarch 30 20162016-03-30A large hall with white walls, ceiling lights and red-lit backdrop hosts a community meal.
