A photograph of a ceremonial stage set in a temple-like hall. At the centre, a seated figure in orange-red robes sits on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion, beneath a decorated umbrella-like canopy. Flanking the throne are large golden ceremonial animal figures, including a lion-like mount on the left and a bull-like figure on the right, both draped with floral garlands. Multicoloured floral decorations and garlands hang on the pillars behind, and the background shows dark carved columns and dim lighting. No other physical people are visible.2010-11-12A decorated temple shrine with a central seated figure in a purple garment on an ornate golden pedestal, flanked by several golden arched shrine niches containing deity murtis, with golden animal vehicles (vahanas) in front. The shrine is framed by a patterned backdrop with a glowing circular halo above the centre, and flower decorations line the base. Appears to be a temple darshan or padapuja setting. The central figure is seated in a shrine display rather than clearly a visible living person, and no reliable appearance cues establish identity.2011-11-30 +2 copiesA small photograph of an ornate temple sanctum showing a large golden deity murti seated on a raised golden peetha or throne, decorated with garlands and ornamental metalwork. Multiple gilded and red-draped deity murti and altar figures sit in a row, decorated with garlands and flowers. Several people in white clothes sit cross-legged on the floor in front of the altar, performing a puja. No one in the image is identifiable as the a person with confidence; the seated figures appear to be devotees or priests in white.2011-11-30 +1 copiesA small, wide photograph of an ornately decorated Hindu temple shrine or stage set. Central figures are deity murti or statues in gold and red arrangements, with a golden throne-like seat and tall colourful pillars and floral backdrop. Several small figures in bright saffron and red clothing sit and stand around the shrine, appearing to be statues or figurines rather than living people. Hanging lights and garlands decorate the upper area.2011-12-02November 18 20102010-11-18 +2 copiesA photograph of an ornate stage set for a ceremony. A figure in orange robes sits centrally on a red and gold throne beneath a large golden umbrella canopy. Behind the throne stands a tall decorated deity murti with a crown and multiple arms, flanked by golden floral and lamp arrangements. Decorated pedestals with garlands and flowers stand on either side. Blue-grey draped backdrop and stage lights frame the scene. The seated figure's face and build are too small and indistinct to confirm an appearance-based candidate, so the identity remains uncertain.2010-11-22June 12 20102010-06-12
