Brass puja plates, small lamps and offering trays sit in front of them in a row, and a red-curtained stage with a wooden doorway stands at the back. Behind them, women in white and pastel saris sit in rows, and there is a seated figure in white near the rear. Two rows of chrome posts form a walkway through the hall. Foreground boys wear orange cloth and rudraksha malas, their foreheads and arms marked with white ash; some hold small items at their hands while sitting before brass puja vessels, small dishes and flowers on low tables. Behind them, rows of seated participants in maroon and red garments and white clothing sit behind rope barriers, with a few standing figures and an older man in white at the right edge.
