A seated group of young and adult saffron-robed monks and devotees sits on the floor of a hall during a puja. Many boys wear saffron and maroon robes with gold-edged cloth, white tilak lines on their foreheads and rudraksha malas around their necks. Brass oil lamps, small brass vessels and plates of offerings sit on red cloths in front of them, and several participants have hands pressed together in prayer. Behind them, other devotees in white and saffron sit among the rows, with a wooden cabinet and maroon curtain along the wall.
