March 01 20182018-03-01A photograph of an empty open courtyard with bare reddish-brown earth and scattered dry leaves and patches of small green weeds. A tall tree trunk stands at the right edge, and a squat white concrete planter holds a small young sapling. Thin yellow bamboo poles support a sagging overhead mesh trellis covered with dry foliage. Behind the courtyard are a pale blue-grey colonnaded building wall with dark wooden windows, a red-painted plinth, and a dark wooden pillar. No people, statues or ritual items are visible.2006-11-09A photograph of an empty open courtyard inside an old palace building with blue-grey walls and dark wooden pillars. Several men wear saffron and orange robes: a young man on the far left in orange, a bearded elderly sadhu in rust-red robes with a topknot, a long-haired man in orange with a beaded necklace, and a man on the far right in orange holding a small object. A man in a white kurta with a blue-and-white beaded necklace walks second from left, and a younger person in white stands further back. Tamil script is painted on the pink wall behind them.2010-01-18 +1 copies
