The man on the left, with his head shaved except for a small tuft, bends forward while water is poured over his head from above. The man in the centre, bald, holds his hands out in front of him, and the man on the right, bald and wearing blue-tinted glasses, holds his hands together near his chest. Behind them a dark stone structure, red-painted stone walls and a metal railing frame the tank. The scene appears to be a ritual bath or abhishekam-style purification.2015-11-16A photograph of a large black stone Shiva lingam at left, wrapped with a garland of white and red flowers and sprayed by jets of water. Behind it, a red-brick stepped tank holds rows of small black lingams, with red flags on poles along the steps and railings. Several men in white ritual clothing stand and move on the steps, one bending over at right, one at left holding a white cloth or vessel, and another in an orange-and-red dhoti near the centre. Pink and white ritual garments and a pale wall with a wooden door appear at the top. Water flows over the lingam into the pool below.2016-09-19Outdoor photo of a large black Shiva linga standing in a red-tiled tank of water, decorated with garlands in yellow, green and red. Several people in the water near the linga, some wading and bathing, while a line of people in white dhotis and shawls walk down red stone steps on the left, one carrying a tray. Behind are red-tiered seating steps, an unfinished concrete building and trees under a pale sky.2010-10-22 +1 copiesOctober 22 20142014-10-22 +1 copiesNovember 16 20152015-11-16November 16 20152015-11-16April 25 20132013-04-25A large black stone linga, decorated with garlands and flower strings, rises from a platform at the water's edge of a rectangular tank beside red-painted tiered steps. A crowd of people in white dhotis and white clothing descend the steps toward the water, some carrying items; one orange-clad figure stands among them, and a small figure is visible in the water near the linga. Empty red-and-black seating rows and a metal railing line the right side, with unfinished concrete buildings behind.2010-10-22 +1 copiesSeptember 19 20162016-09-19April 25 20132013-04-25
