Many young boys and men in saffron-orange dhotis and robes sit cross-legged on mats, wearing white forehead bands, rudraksha malas and ash markings. Brass plates, small bowls, cups and offering trays sit on low metal tables in front of them, and one boy holds a small brass vessel. Behind them, women in red and maroon saris and several Westerners in white clothing sit on red floor mats, some seated on chairs at the back.
