Two priests in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl sit cross-legged on a tiled floor performing a puja. Both wear rudraksha malas, white sandalwood-paste markings on their arms and forehead with red kumkum dots, and red-orange bangles. The priest on the left holds a small spoon over brass vessels and a tray of flowers, eyes lowered. The priest on the right, wearing a wristwatch, presses his hands together over a brass kalasha-type vessel and oil lamps on an orange cloth. Brass plates hold flowers, offerings and a lamp. Other people in white sit in the background, out of focus. No clear a person candidate is visible.

A seated ritual scene in a hall where two priests in saffron-orange robes with red borders sit cross-legged on mats. The foreground priest on the right, wearing a long gold necklace of beads and tilak on his forehead, holds a lit oil lamp in one hand and a small brass bell in the other. The older priest on the left, with grey beard and glasses and a red bindi, also holds a lit lamp and a bell. Behind them, several men in white dhotis and white shirts with rudraksha malas sit and hold lamps, and a brass plate with flowers, fruit and a red-tipped offering sits on the mat in front. This appears to be an aarti or puja with lamps and bells.

Behind them, seated devotees in white clothing and a man in a red shawl watch the ritual, with a woman in a white shirt at right.

Several wear long orange-beaded garlands and rudraksha malas, and each has white sacred ash markings on the forehead. The foreground man, in red-orange cloth with an orange shawl, holds a small lit oil lamp in his hands, and the man beside him holds a brass bell and a lamp. Brass vessels, a lit oil lamp and flower-filled plates sit on the floor before them, with red curtains and a white wall behind. A few people in white clothing sit at the far left.
