Long dark tables hold banana leaves set with food, steel tumblers and small bowls. A woman in a white sari with orange and red border and a black mangalsutra stands at left, serving from a steel pot. Beside her a long-haired figure in an orange robe leans in to serve, while a man in white shirt and dhoti stands behind. Rows of men in white shirts and dhotis sit along the tables eating, some with raised hands, and another man in a white shirt sits at right. A photograph credit line on the image reads2007-01-12A communal meal is served in a long hall with a stainless steel serving table running through the frame. Men in white shirts and dhotis sit and eat from green banana leaves, using their hands, with rice, papadams, poori-style bread and small fried snacks laid out. Behind the table, a woman in a white sari with a coloured border and a black mala serves food from a steel bowl, while another woman in a white sari with a striped border serves from a pan. On the right, a woman in white with gold bangles and a black beaded necklace holds a stack of papadams on a tray. Dozens of people in white are seated along benches in the background. No a person candidate is visible.2007-01-12Annadhan in 20152015-01-01 +2 copiesA dining hall in which men sit at long metal tables eating from banana leaves set with rice, curry and sides, with cups and a steel bucket on the table. On the right, a figure with long dark hair and an orange saffron robe, with a beaded rudraksha-style necklace, stands serving food; the figure matches the candidate appearance cues of the page's Swamiji reference, so this is a probable Swamiji. Several seated men wear white shirts and dhotis or pale clothing, one in a pink shirt, smiling and eating. Other people stand and sit in the background near pillars and walls, and a small logo appears at upper left.2007-01-12December 26 20082008-12-26Indoor photograph of a large ritual meal gathering on a bare floor. Seated devotees, mostly men and women in white and coloured silk saris, sit on mats in rows before fresh green banana leaves. Several people wear red and white flower garlands and are sprinkling or arranging cooked rice and small offerings on the leaves with their hands. Standing attendants in white clothing move between the rows, and large framed images of a woman in red and gold saris hang on the wall behind. White and orange cloth covers part of the floor. The scene looks like an annadan-style communal meal or puja offering.2006-12-26December 26 20062006-12-26A long dining hall where rows of seated people eat a meal served on banana leaves set on long tables. A person in ochre-orange robes with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala stands at right holding a steel bucket and serving food, barefoot. Seated diners in saris, shirts and white dhotis, including a woman in a red-brown sari at left, eat with their hands. Steel tumblers, small bowls of rice, vegetables, papads and banana leaves cover the tables; more people sit and stand in the background under ceiling fans and white pillars.2007-01-12January 12 20072007-01-12
