A temple ritual at night in front of a shrine with garlanded deity murti and metal images draped in a garland-covered arch. Two priests in white dhoti stand at left: one bare-chested, holding a lit oil lamp on a silver plate, the other in a teal turban and white dhoti with a rudraksha-style mala. In front, a square fire pit (homa) burns with petals and offerings scattered around. A red-orange cloth covers the altar with flower garlands and a kalasha-like vessel.

A young male priest in a white dhoti with a gold-bordered cloth and a red-and-gold sash stands at night holding a brass oil lamp with a visible open flame, performing aarti before a deity murti. A rudraksha mala hangs at his chest. Behind him, a silver-and-gold decorated structure is adorned with yellow marigold garlands and red, white and green flower strings, and a large golden lion-like figure with a red silk cloth lies at the lower left. A second person in white stands partly visible behind him, with smoke rising in the dim temple setting.

A priest in a white dhoti with a light shawl and a blue-green headcloth performs aarti with a flaming oil lamp before a decorated deity murti on a red-draped altar. The altar is heavily garlanded with red roses, white jasmine and yellow and green foliage. Behind it, two standing deity figures in silver and gold ornaments stand within a garland-festooned shrine lit by warm light, and smoke drifts across the foreground. No a person candidate is visible in the foreground; a partially visible figure at left edge is indistinct.

A bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a maroon border and a multicoloured silk head-wrap bends over a brass multi-wick oil lamp, its flames burning brightly, while he holds a silver tray of pink and white flowers. Rudraksha-style beads hang at his neck and a bangle is on his wrist. Beside him stands a basket of yellow and white flowers, and a golden arched frame, flower garlands and small brass vessels surround a decorated floor spread with striped mats. Incense smoke rises in the background, where other figures are faintly visible. The setting suggests a night ritual of lamp offering.

A night-time photo of a temple ritual. In the centre, a bare-chested priest in a white dhoti with a gold border and a green-and-gold turban holds a lit oil lamp in both hands, with a rudraksha mala hanging from his neck and sandal-paste marks on his arms. To his left, a second priest in white dhoti and red-rimmed glasses stands with folded hands, and a third person's hands are visible at the far left. On the right, a large deity murti is decorated with yellow marigold garlands, white and purple flower strands, gold jewellery and a pink-and-green sari-like cloth, with lion figures on the pedestal and a kalasha-like vessel with flowers on top. Orange firelight glows behind them.
