June 10 20092009-06-10June 09 20092009-06-09A celebratory stage scene under a white draped backdrop with string lights and floral arrangements. A man in a gold-embroidered brocade robe with a red sash and a cream turban sits or stands centrally beneath a golden ceremonial canopy, flanked by floral decorations. In front, a white-clad man with his back to the camera faces a white-draped table holding a tiered cake with lit candles and red flowers. Around them, devotees in white kurtas and saffron-orange sarees and shawls gather, and a young girl in a mustard top and red skirt reaches toward the table. Attendees clap or stand near the stage. Whether the central figure is a specific individual cannot be determined from appearance here, so no identification is made.2009-06-10A photograph of a celebration at a cake table. A seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne chair, wearing an orange saffron robe, a long white jasmine garland with red flower accents, and a rudraksha-style bead necklace, holds out a small pink gift box to a young man in white. Around the table, a group of young men in white shirts and white dhotis, many with orange headbands, clap and gesture. A large white-iced cake sits on the table in front, with pink gift boxes, brass figurines and a small red flower decoration. Gold-framed floral decorations hang above. A visible backdrop of dark blue drapery surrounds the scene.2007-12-25A central figure seated on an ornate gold throne on a stage with a black backdrop hung with white flower strands. He wears an orange-and-red head wrap, orange robe, and a garland of white and pink flowers, and raises one hand in blessing. Men in white shirts and dhotis kneel around the base of the throne, pressing their hands onto the gold platform, with scattered marigold and rose petals on the floor. Attendants in orange and saffron robes stand behind, one in white with a yellow shawl and rudraksha mala. Some of the men wear white shirts and trousers. Scene resembles a felicitation or padapuja at a satsang.2010-08-15A photograph of a ceremonial reception stage at an evening event, with a white curtain backdrop strung with fairy lights and floral arrangements. A central seated figure sits on an ornate gold throne beneath a gold umbrella, wearing a gold-embroidered cream robe and a white turban, with a red sash. In front of the throne a tiered white cake with a cake knife sits on a white-draped table. Several people in white kurtas with orange shawls and orange-robed men surround the table, one reaching to the cake. A woman in a purple silk sari and women in red and orange saris stand nearby, and a young girl in a pink dress and red veil watches at the right edge.2009-06-09December 11 20052005-12-11A stage photograph of a Thirukalyanam reception in a hall with draped cream curtains strung with lights and floral arrangements. A seated figure on an ornate gilded throne with a golden umbrella overhead wears a white turban and gold-embroidered robes, with a tiered cake in front. Around the stage, men in saffron and white dhotis and women in red, orange and white saris stand and watch, while a girl in pink and red sits near the front. Red and white floral patterned carpet covers the platform edge.2009-06-09June 09 20092009-06-09November 19 20092009-11-19A photograph of a festive outdoor tent event with a decorated canopy in purple, red, yellow and green trim. A central figure with long dark hair, a white garland and an ornate golden-brown robe sits on an ornate decorated seat or throne, extending a hand toward a small child who is reaching toward a white two-tier cake placed on a blue table. The table front shows three framed portrait photographs and a blue cloth with silver trim. Around the seat, people in white and cream traditional clothing, including men in white dhotis and women in white and yellow saris, stand with hands raised or folded, some in orange or saffron garments. A saffron-wrapped man stands at the left of the group.2008-11-12A seated long-haired man in an orange saffron dhoti and shawl sits on a red-cushioned ornate throne, garlanded with white jasmine and pink and orange flowers, with his bare feet on a red cushion. Two men in plain white kurtas stand at a low table holding a cake on a tray, while a man in an orange robe stands behind the throne. Pink and red drapes, colourful striped banners and a spotlight frame the setting, and a woman in a white sari stands at right among onlookers. The scene reads as a birthday cake offering during a satsang-style event; the seated figure's appearance is consistent with Swamiji (probable) based on the long hair, orange clothing and throne with garlands.2006-12-27
