A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange head wrap sits on an ornate gold throne decorated with a garland of red, yellow, purple and white flowers. Swamiji (probable) is seated at the centre, with long-haired appearance cues and saffron clothing; he holds an object before him. Two attendants stand beside the throne: one in white dhoti and a shaved head wearing beaded necklaces, and one in orange cloth holding a tray of flowers. A third attendant in orange with a rudraksha mala stands at right beside a golden flame backdrop. Before the throne are green mats, brass plates of pink and orange offerings, and cushioned mats on the left beside a large yellow cobra figure and a folded golden hood structure.2011-07-15June 09 20092009-06-09A photograph of a temple stage set before red curtains, with a golden Nandi bull and a large gilded shrine. At centre, a framed portrait of a man with a red turban, rudraksha mala and orange robe sits on a red cushioned chair, labelled as a portrait. To the right, a gilded deity murti in green draped clothing is garlanded with marigolds. Two men in orange dhotis with bare upper bodies stand at left, one holding a flower or offering toward the Nandi. Oil lamps and flower garlands decorate the stage, and a microphone stands in front of the portrait.2017-11-11December 01 20172017-12-01A photograph of a ceremonial stage under a white tent. A man in orange robes and an orange turban sits on an ornate golden throne decorated with garlands of marigolds and red and purple flowers, under a golden canopy. Behind him, a priest in a plain white dhoti and bare chest stands with his hands near the throne, and a man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala stands at right beside a large fire. Another man in a white dhoti sits at left beside a large drum, and a bare-chested priest in white stands near him. Small brass and clay lamps with flames and offerings sit on the green floor at the front, and mats are spread at left. The seated figure's distinctive orange turban, saffron robes and rudraksha malas match the Swamiji (probable) appearance cues.2011-07-15A photograph of a ceremonial reception on a stage with a large golden throne backed by pink lotus petals and a golden crescent. A seated figure in a rust-red robe and matching red turban sits on the throne, wearing a white and orange flower garland, with bare feet resting on a pink flower offering. Standing to the left, several people in saffron-orange shawls and white dhotis bow or stand, one bending low with hands together; one holds a bunch of marigold garlands. On the right, a bare-chested attendant in a rust cloth holds a ceremonial trident and a brass tray. Dark blue draped tent fabric forms the backdrop. A possible identity cue for the seated figure is the red turban and ceremonial garlands, but the face is not clearly visible enough to confirm the candidate.2014-05-21Photo of a ceremony under a white tent with a green mat floor.
