Photograph of a procession on a white-draped float decorated with red and white flower garlands. A long-haired man in orange-saffron cloth with a red and gold garland, gold necklaces, bangles and a red bindi stands at the upper right with eyes closed, appearing to be the honoured figure; the candidate's appearance is consistent with the page's Swamiji reference, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) identification based on long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and ornate gold necklace. Beside him stands a bald, bare-chested man with white tilak marks and gold beads. Several other shaved-headed, bare-chested men in saffron cloth with white forehead and arm markings crowd the float's front, several with rudraksha malas, two of them leaning into the frame. Bright overcast sky fills the background.2013-07-01February 27 20142014-02-27A procession on dusty ground in bright daylight. In the centre, a man with long swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead, wearing a white dhoti and shawl with gold borders, a red-and-pink flower garland and several gold necklaces, raises both palms in greeting. A red, green and white umbrella with fringed edges is held over him. Behind and beside him, attendants in saffron/orange robes wear gold beaded necklaces with pendants; one on the left has a long beard, and another on the left carries a tall golden staff with a finial. Several more people in white and orange stand in the crowd behind. The swami presence is a visible appearance cue: long swept-back hair, ceremonial gold necklaces and a white robe with gold border, marking him as a probable Swamiji in procession.2009-01-01July 07 20092009-07-07October 17 20102010-10-17Outdoor photograph of a procession on a decorated vehicle with a dark rounded object wrapped in long garlands of orange, yellow, red and purple flowers at right. A man in the centre with long hair tied back wears a red-orange cloth, layered gold and red-bead necklaces, bangles and a bindi, holds his hands open at chest height and smiles toward the sky. Beside him to the left, a bald priest in a saffron-orange shawl with a white forehead mark holds a large silver vessel, and a second man behind holds a silver bell and a small bowl. Pale sky and flower-draped railing in the background.2016-12-27Night photo of a Hindu ceremony. A bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair, a white forehead mark, saffron-orange cloth and multiple beaded rudraksha-style necklaces smiles while seated on a cream upholstered throne, one arm extended toward a gilded lion-like figure in the foreground. Around him, saffron-robed men with shaved heads and white forehead markings stand or kneel. On the left, a man in a white shirt presses his palms together in añjali. Behind them, a camera on a tripod, colourful floral garlands and string lights are visible.2013-03-10June 26 20172017-06-26 +2 copiesAugust 09 20172017-08-09 +2 copiesJune 10 20132013-06-10January 15 20162016-01-15A procession on a dirt path with a red and green umbrella overhead.
