March 28 20132013-03-28Night ritual scene at a homa fire pit set on a red and patterned mat. A seated man on a gilded throne with a tiger-striped cloth at the front sits cross-legged, bare-chested in a golden ornate collar and orange-red dhoti, with a red tilak on his forehead. In the foreground, a person in dark clothing gestures toward the flames. Five or six women in orange and red shawls sit on the left watching, and a red-and-gold backdrop frames the stage. The fire, oil lamps and leaves at the edge suggest a fire ritual. The man's appearance shows adornments but the page does not establish the event, so this is described by role only.2012-07-29July 29 20122012-07-29 +1 copiesNight-time ritual in a dimly lit hall with a wall of small stones and a gold cloth hanging behind an altar.
