Outdoor night ritual at a dirt-floor courtyard beside a tall white-barked banana-style pole hung with yellow-green banana leaves. On the right, a shaved-headed man in an orange saffron dhoti and shawl with gold border, wearing a gold bead mala and bangles, rings a brass bell in one hand and holds a silver tray with small vessels in the other, offering water or ritual items at the pole. On the left, a shaved-headed man in white dhoti with gold border and gold beaded necklace holds an open book and a green leaf, reciting. Lit red string lights decorate a wall behind, and a leaf with offerings lies on the ground.
