On a raised red stage, a woman in an orange sari sits on a white-draped seat before a microphone, while a man in orange robes sits cross-legged beside her. Behind them a framed portrait of a saffron-clad figure sits within a decorated shrine with marigold garlands and brass lamps. Around fifty devotees in white clothes sit on the floor facing the stage, and several standing men in white line the left side. A banner reading 'Spiritual Journey of' hangs above, and a pedestal fan stands at the right.2008-03-23April 17 20112011-04-17December 27 20062006-12-27Indoor ceremonial gathering on a raised stage. Seated centrally on an ornate gold throne with a canopy is a figure in saffron/orange robes with a garland and hands pressed in namaste; the appearance is consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji (probable), with long swept-back hair and saffron clothing as cues. Before the throne are silver bowls and offerings on a red cloth. Around the stage sit many devotees: men in white with saffron shawls on the left, and women and girls in saffron-bordered white on the right.2007-02-24A photograph of a group of men seated cross-legged on a white tiled floor in a plain hall, facing a framed portrait on a red wall with white geometric border trim. The portrait shows a figure in orange robes seated in meditation, adorned with a gold necklace and a red garland across the frame. Among the men, a seated man in a white shirt and tan trousers holds his hands in namaste, a man on the right plays a small hand drum, and a man at far right wears a yellow and red sash. A seated figure in white dhoti with a yellow shawl holds a book. Many seated men in shirts and dhotis fill the row behind them.A photograph of a ritual gathering in a hall with green curtains and a wooden backdrop. A central figure in an orange-saffron robe and orange turban sits on the floor facing a seated circle of about a dozen devotees in white clothes. Several devotees are seated before a ceremonial setup, one reaching toward a tray or fire-pit area. Behind the central figure, a framed portrait is labelled with a printed name in the frame area showing a figure in saffron. A trident, a decorated kalasha-style canopy, and a wooden throne with a fringed cushion are visible. Other seated white-clad people are arranged along the side of the room, and a pair of white-clad attendants stand at the back.2004-07-02Indoor hall with many men in white ritual clothes seated closely on the floor facing the front, with a few standing figures among them. A standing man in a white shirt and trousers stands at right, and women in white saris and an orange-edged sari appear at right and centre. Behind them hang large banners with photographs and printed text, a tall painted image of a woman with a veena-like instrument, a black-and-white portrait, and ornate decorations including hanging kalasha-like cylinders with elephant motifs and gold tinsel garlands along the ceiling. The setting looks like an ashram satsang or community gathering.2007-02-15March 23 20082008-03-23November 05 20102010-11-05
