Night outdoor homa at Tiruvannamalai. A bare-chested priest in white dhoti with a shaved head and tripundra sits at the front of a square fire pit with red-and-white stepped sides, scattered with marigold petals. Seated devotees in white clothes, some with folded hands, sit on mats around the pit. Behind the pit, a framed portrait labelled with a visible garland of yellow and orange marigolds stands on a white-draped table, flanked by brass oil lamps. A string of small lights and a standing lamp illuminate the scene, with more people standing in the background.

A photograph of a devotional worship scene in a plainly white-walled room. A framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" shows a long-haired figure in saffron clothing with a rudraksha mala, seated before a tree trunk and garlanded with white jasmine and red flowers. Below it, a white-draped altar holds a folded saffron cloth, a garland, and two brass oil lamps lit with flames. In the foreground, three devotees sit on the floor in white clothes: a man with folded hands in prayer, a balding man with his back to the camera, and a woman with a jasmine-decorated braid wearing a cream sari with gold border. Brass vessels, fruit and flower petals lie on trays nearby.

Night outdoor ritual at a homa pit lined with brick and painted red and white steps, with flowers scattered around it. A priest in white dhoti and shawl, bare-chested with sandalwood marks on his forehead, holds a flame over the pit while devotees in white stand and sit with folded hands behind him. On the right, a framed photograph of a figure in orange robes and a beaded necklace, garlanded with yellow and orange marigolds, sits on a white-draped table flanked by brass oil lamps, a kalasha and offerings. The printed photograph is a depiction and is not counted as a physical person. Strings of lights and a floodlight appear in the background.

Night-time outdoor photo of a devotional gathering under a canopy with blue and gold edging. A central figure sits on a low wicker seat facing a framed deity image on a draped table, with fruit, flowers and a brass vessel placed before it. The seated figure wears an orange saffron cloth and a white flower garland, with a bald or closely shaved head. Around them, devotees in white dhotis and shirts sit on red and white striped mats, many with palms pressed together in namaskar. Women in white saris stand and kneel at the left, and additional men stand at the right. A light-coloured cloth-wrapped figure sits to the right side. The scene looks like a puja or satsang.
