A man with long dark hair wears an orange saffron dress and orange shawl and stands at left, one hand extended toward the copper vessel while holding a flat golden tray. Two other men in white and saffron-orange cloth stand near the platform. Scattered flower petals fall around the vessel. Several men in white dhotis and shirts stand at left, some with hands folded in namaskar. A tall figure in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back dark hair and a beard stands on a raised platform, raising an orange cloth band over the top of the column with both hands; a gold necklace and beaded mala are visible. A second person in white clothing stands beside the pillar. Coconut palms and a thatched hut are in the background under a grey sky.
