Two men in white shirts and white dhotis stand in the foreground, one with hands folded, another in a white shirt carrying a long-handled colourful ceremonial umbrella with a tasselled canopy. A woman in a white sari stands near the carpet. Behind them an orange and red stage backdrop with floral garlands and a red draped cloth frames the entrance, and a tin-sheeted wall lies to the left. Ceremonial parasols with embroidered gold and blue canopies are held aloft.
