Evening ritual on a riverside ghat at dusk, with a dark blue sky and distant city lights across the water. A woman in a red-orange sari stands at the left, pouring or offering over a small deity murti on a draped red table, with a lit oil lamp and brass puja vessels, bowls and a drum in the foreground. Several rows of seated devotees face the ritual along the steps; a man in the middle wears a dark jacket with a red shawl, and a bald man in a cream kurta and red-striped pants sits at right. Dozens of seated devotees, many in white clothes, face a figure standing on a metal staircase at right, wearing an orange-saffron garment and holding a microphone. Bamboo poles tied with rope frame the stairs. Some attendees wear lanyards and sit on a light mat; a woman in a red-and-orange sari sits at lower left. The figure in orange is a sannyasi-style presenter, with the appearance of a long-haired teacher; the cues are not distinctive enough to confirm identity.2010-12-02Dusk on a riverbank with calm water and a town lit along the far shore under hills. A fire pit burns at the front-left beside brass offering plates. A standing priest in red-orange robes performs a ritual near a small offering table with fruit and flowers. Seated devotees in white clothing and red shawls face the fire, and tall silver-tipped ceremonial staffs and a fringed orange canopy stand at the right. A figure in an orange-brown robe sits near the right-side seat and staffs, but his appearance is not clearly distinctive, so his identity is uncertain.2014-03-18March 18 20142014-03-18May 14 20142014-05-14Evening puja on a riverside ghat at dusk, with a wide river reflecting the lights of a town along the far bank and a forested hillside behind.
