Close view of a shrine niche densely decorated with red flowers, orange marigolds, white and yellow blossoms strung into garlands, and loose red petals heaped over a dark red stone surface. In the right foreground, the blurred forearm of a person wearing a beaded rudraksha bracelet is visible. No face is shown and no readable names appear on the shrine itself, so this is a flower-decorated deity or altar setting.2018-03-28March 28 20182018-03-28 +1 copiesOctober 03 20152015-10-03October 03 20152015-10-03A priest with a purple head cloth and a bare arm reaches into a flower-decorated shrine, placing pink and red blossoms beside a golden kalasha-like finial. The shrine is framed by concentric garlands of white jasmine, red roses and yellow marigolds set on green leaves, with a glimpse of silver ornaments and a white garment with a gold border visible within. Appears to be a deity murti being decorated with flowers during a puja.2018-04-14March 28 20182018-03-28July 21 20102010-07-21Close-up photograph of a bare foot resting on a red cushioned seat, decorated with a garland of yellow marigolds and red roses, with white flower strands and green leaves above. Red roses, yellow and orange marigolds, white jasmine and purple blossoms surround the base, with green leaves scattered among them. Rudraksha and wooden beads drape over the lingam, and a green cloth and orange cloth are arranged at its base. Small dried herbs and flower petals lie on the stone platform. No people are visible.2013-07-04March 02 20112011-03-02Close-up photograph of bare feet resting on a red velvet cushion, decorated with a garland of red roses, yellow marigolds and white jasmine-like flowers with green leaves. The robe edge at upper left is cream with gold and maroon border embroidery. Petals are scattered on the cushion. The background is softly blurred, with a pale ivory and gold tone. This appears to be a padapuja, the ritual worship of the feet, though no person's face is visible.2011-01-23 +1 copies
