Inside the niche sits a bearded statue of a sannyasi draped in orange cloth, wearing layered brown rudraksha malas and a crown-like headpiece, with a halo behind the head. Green leaves and a small dark bowl rest on the ledge in front of the statue. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes sits at the center of a decorated dais, wearing a long flower garland of white and pink blossoms and holding a golden staff. Strings of marigolds and yellow flowers hang across the backdrop, and the platform is banked with red and orange flowers. Brass vessels, a red-cushioned tray and coconut-like offerings sit on a cloth at the base, with a lit oil lamp glowing nearby. Light beams and scattered petals add to the festive atmosphere.2017-08-14
