A metal pot with a small flame sits on the fire, with a silver ladle and bowls of offerings in the foreground. Behind, a figure in orange-red robes with a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged, one hand extended over the fire. Two women in white garments sit in the background. Behind the fire, red and yellow decorated altars are hung with marigold and mango-leaf garlands and flower bundles, with a painted colourful backdrop.2013-05-13Close-up photograph of a puja setup on a striped green, red and yellow cloth. A silver oil lamp with a lit flame sits centrally beside a silver bowl of pink rose petals, a silver bowl of yellow turmeric paste, a small dish of white powder, and incense sticks in a silver holder. Pink and yellow flowers and green leaves frame the foreground, with a yellow-brick wall behind. A person in a rust-coloured garment is partly visible at the top left, seated at the edge of the frame. The setting suggests a Hindu ritual offering.2018-05-29 +1 copies
