A bare-chested man with long swept-back hair, a tilak on his forehead, a red-and-gold shawl and a large gold bead necklace reaches his right hand onto the forehead of a seated man in a white collared shirt, rudraksha mala and a gold bangle. The seated man raises his right palm toward his own face. Behind them, a shaved-headed monk in orange robes sits beside a blurred man in white, with other people standing in the background. Red curtains and a white appliance are visible at left. a person: the bare-chested figure with swept-back hair, gold beaded necklace and red-gold shawl in a blessing gesture, with the photo's caption page indicating a Nithya Kriya session.2011-11-06A photo of a seated man with short grey hair, wearing a white collared shirt and a rudraksha mala with a pendant, receiving a forehead blessing. A hand with a red thread bracelet touches his brow between the eyebrows, while his own hands are raised palm-out in front of him. Behind him, a person in white with an orange-red shawl stands in a dim red-curtained hall. The scene resembles a darshan blessing during an initiation session.2017-08-03A photograph of a ceremonial blessing at an indoor event. A man with long, dark, curly hair, seen from behind and partly in profile on the left, presses his right palm to the forehead of a seated man with closed eyes. The recipient wears a plain white kurta and a long rudraksha mala with a small pendant. Behind them, several men in white clothes and orange or saffron stoles stand near a fan and a blue table. The blessing appears to be a personal touch on the forehead; the scene is a photograph of a devotee receiving the blessing from a figure with distinctive long, swept hair and a yellow shawl, but the face of the blessing giver is not clearly visible enough to confirm identity, so a person's presence is uncertain.2006-07-30Photograph of a shaved-head... no: a man with hair tied in a topknot and a white vertical tilak on his forehead stands at left, wearing an orange-saffron shawl draped over one shoulder and a wrap around his waist, with multiple rudraksha malas with silver beads and a gold necklace. He places his right hand on the crown of the head of a seated-to-standing devotee at right, who wears a white kurta, rudraksha mala, and an orange-lanyard identity badge, with palms raised in a gesture of receiving blessing and eyes closed. Behind them, a bald man in saffron clothing sits, and a red curtain hangs on the right wall. The setting appears to be an indoor ashram hall with plain white walls.2012-10-11 +1 copiesA photograph of a devotional blessing at an indoor event.
