In the foreground, a bald older priest with white vibhuti markings on his body and a pink-and-gold cloth sits on the left, holding a small silver vessel. A woman in a white sari with gold border and an ID lanyard leans over a brick-like altar platform arranged with flowers, fruit, banana leaves and silver bowls. A bare-chested young man in white dhoti sits at right, holding offerings. A silver ritual vessel and yellow cloth lie on the floor. Three people are visible.

A photograph of a Hindu puja ritual with several people seated on the floor around a gold tray. A shaved-headed priest in a white dhoti and shawl, with a tripundra on his forehead and rudraksha mala around his neck, holds a small white box with a red flower and offers it to a woman in a cream sari with gold border. Silver bowls on the gold tray hold apples, flowers and other offerings. Another priest in white with yellow-bordered dhoti sits to the right holding a flower-topped offering. Foreground devotees in white and yellow clothing look on, one holding a printed booklet. The priest in the center does not qualify as an appearance-based candidate for a person.

Several men in white dhotis and gold necklaces sit on the floor holding oil lamps and performing aarti, one with a holy-ash mark on his forehead. A woman in white with folded hands sits nearby, and a woman with a yellow-bordered white sari kneels in prayer in the foreground. Brass trays hold pink flowers, fruit and a kalasha-like vessel, and a gold-trimmed altar stands at the right. A microphone is visible near a saffron-robed man. Whether any of these men is a person cannot be determined from appearance.

A seated figure in orange robes rests bare feet on a golden tray at right, reclining on a red cushioned seat beside a gold-embossed wooden chest. Two shaved-headed priests in white dhotis with red-bordered shawls and gold-bead necklaces sit cross-legged on the floor, one pouring or tending items from a silver bowl. A woman with long wavy hair in an orange and green sari, with a red bindi, sits behind them looking on. Gold plates hold pink lotus flowers, shredded white offerings, and small bowls.
