Close view of a padapuja ritual: bare feet of a person in orange garments rest on a bed of yellow and pink flowers and petals at the centre of a golden ornate table. Around the feet are silver bowls and trays holding milk, honey, turmeric-tinted liquid, white flowers, kumkum and red flowers, with a silver plate and small silver implements. Blurred devotees in white and red saris stand behind the table. The arrangement suggests a foot-washing puja offering, and the person's feet are the main focus.2013-03-04Close-up photo of bare feet resting on a gold ornate tray during a padapuja ritual. The person wears orange robes, and the feet are set among gold and silver ritual vessels. Two red roses lie on the gold tray beside two gold kalasha-style finials with purple tips, and silver bowls filled with liquids and yellow offerings surround the scene.2010-08-07Overhead view of an ornate gold-toned ceremonial arrangement for an offering. Multiple round silver-coloured trays hold empty silver bowls and small silver cups, several containing white rice or flour decorated with orange marigold petals, and small bowls of golden-orange liquid. Red hibiscus flowers and green leaves are placed on the trays and a silver pot. At the centre, a garland of red, orange and yellow flowers surrounds a small brass vessel with a spout. The large base is gold-coloured with embossed floral patterns. No people are visible.2013-09-15A close-up photograph of a padapuja ritual: a pair of bare feet in an orange-and-gold garment stands at the top left while a hand in a bangle offers flowers at the feet. Silver bowls and trays hold yellow and orange marigolds, red roses, white blossoms and green leaves, with a small brass lamp and a silver kalasha on a gold-edged tray. A woman in a red-brown sari with folded hands is visible at the top. The scene is an offering of flowers and puja items, and the visible people are a worshipper's hands, feet and one partly visible devotee.2013-08-04Top-down view of a ceremonial offering arrangement on an ornate gold-embossed tray. Multiple silver bowls and silver plates are arranged in a ring around a central pair of brass footprint-shaped sandals (padukas) strewn with red rose petals and yellow flowers. Several bowls hold orange-yellow sweet offerings, and red rose heaps and small flower garlands decorate the plates. Silver-toned pots and spouts sit among the bowls. No people are visible; the arrangement appears to be a puja or padapuja offering set.2013-11-15Close view of a bare foot resting among silver ritual vessels, decorated with repoussé floral patterns, filled with pink, yellow and red flower petals, white plumeria blossoms and green leaves. A white conch shell with silver fittings and a silver pitcher sit nearby on a metal tray. The foot belongs to a person in the upper frame wearing a gold-bordered red garment. This appears to be a padapuja-style offering of flowers and ritual water to feet.2014-02-11September 15 20132013-09-15A photograph of a padapuja arrangement on an ornate gold tray.
