January 01 20112011-01-01A large colourful kolam or sand-painted floor drawing on grey pavement, showing a dancing female figure with long flowing black hair, a gold tiara with dots, a red bindi and a purple and gold sari. The figure holds a small brass lamp or offering in one hand and another vessel in the other, with gold bangles and necklaces. White outline work and pink and purple colouring fill the design. No physical people are present; the figure is a painted depiction.2010-12-31A smiling person with long dark hair and a red bindi stands barefoot on a small patterned rug on a light stage, arms extended to the side. They wear a rust-red dhoti-style garment with gold borders and a long yellow and white marigold garland with red flowers draped over the shoulders. A maroon velvet curtain and a wall-mounted air conditioner form the backdrop. The photo appears to show a satsang setting, with the rug marking a speaking or performance spot.2013-03-31March 31 20132013-03-31January 13 20152015-01-13A man stands barefoot on a small woven rug on a light stage floor, arms raised high with palms open, smiling broadly. He wears a deep red-orange robe with a gold-edged border and a long, heavy yellow marigold garland with white and red flower accents draped over his shoulders and down to his feet. A dark burgundy velvet curtain hangs behind him, and a wall-mounted air conditioner is visible at the left edge. A yellow-and-maroon ceremonial stage setting frames the moment.2013-03-31A smiling man in an orange-saffron turban and orange robes stands on a stage with a blue starred backdrop and orange draped fabric. He wears long garlands of white jasmine, yellow marigold and red flowers with copper-tone sections, plus rudraksha bracelets on his wrists and upper arm, and a rudraksha mala across his chest. He claps his hands together in front of him. At the lower right, a red carved vehicle or chariot element is visible beside a person in white. The appearance is consistent with a presentation of ornate saffron clothing and rudraksha adornment, but the page does not establish an event, so the identity is uncertain and the figure is described by role only.2015-05-01December 24 20092009-12-24A smiling man in an orange-red turban and matching saffron-orange shawl sits wearing a thick garland of marigolds, roses, purple flowers, greenery and white blossoms with pink centres. A row of gold beaded rudraksha-style malas hangs across his chest. A red tilak marks his forehead above white ash markings. Behind him, more flower garlands in red, yellow, purple and green are visible.2011-07-15A gilded statue of a standing sannyasi figure wearing a saffron-orange turban with a jeweled ornament, a red tilak mark on the forehead, and a red-brown robe with gold borders at the waist. The figure has its hands raised in a gesture of greeting, and a long white jasmine garland hangs from the shoulders to the base. Behind it is draped red striped silk, with a gold-coloured tray and fruit, including green and yellow mangoes, at the lower edge. The statue is a murti, not a living person, so no physical people are present.2015-11-22 +1 copiesDecember 26 20102010-12-26A photograph of a smiling person in a rust-red saffron-toned sari-style robe with a rudraksha mala and white and red forehead markings, stepping onto a floral rangoli at a doorway. The threshold is framed by garlands of yellow, red, white and green flowers and leaves, and the person's bare feet rest on a heart-shaped arrangement of white jasmine and pink petals bordered with marigolds. Another person in light-coloured clothing stands partly visible inside the room behind. The wooden door with a brass latch sits to the left, and the white-tiled floor surrounds the scene. This matches a pada puja welcome at a devotee's house.2014-06-26
