August 24 20172017-08-24A photograph of a seated man on an ornate red throne with gold carved armrests, wearing a leopard-print headband, a rudraksha mala necklace and an orange-brown shawl, with a red tilak on his forehead. He smiles and extends his right hand to bless the head of a man in a white shirt bending toward him in the foreground, whose dark curly hair is visible. Behind them a red-orange flame and dark background. Swamiji (probable) is seated on the throne, with cues of a crown-like top knot, rudraksha mala and orange shawl, and is the blessing figure in this scene.2017-08-10A photograph of a seated man with long dark braided hair, a white vertical tilak on his forehead, and a red-orange cloth wrapped around his body, with a leopard-print cloth at the waist and rudraksha beads and gold chains at his neck. He rests one hand on the head of a young boy kneeling before him with palms joined in namaskar, the boy wearing a white cloth and beads. Behind them a golden ornate throne or peetha with brown rudraksha-textured backing and a golden deity murti stands near a brass oil lamp, and a silver-handled staff leans in the foreground. Two people are visible. The sequence suggests a blessing given to a devotee.2017-06-01August 24 20172017-08-24August 16 20172017-08-16 +1 copiesAugust 24 20172017-08-24July 07 20172017-07-07 +1 copiesJuly 11 20172017-07-11May 14 20162016-05-14June 01 20172017-06-01 +1 copiesA seated bearded man with long dark hair swept back, wearing a white forehead marking, rudraksha beads and an ochre-red shawl draped over bare shoulders, rests his right hand on the head of a young boy kneeling before him. The seat is covered in a leopard-print cloth, and behind them stands an ornate carved wooden backdrop with a brass trishula-shaped ornament. Another person in orange clothing sits partly visible at right, and a silver-toned figure appears behind the boy. The man has a Swamiji (probable) appearance cued by the swept-back hair, ochre shawl, rudraksha and forehead marking, shown giving blessing to a devotee in what appears to be an energy darshan setting.2018-05-18A seated man in a red-brown dhoti-style wrap and shawl, bare-chested, wears a large garland of pink flowers and green leaves and a white-and-red tilak on his forehead. He rests his right hand on the head of a small boy in orange clothes with a rudraksha mala, who sits on the floor in front of him. A silver trident stands upright beside them, and gold-painted lion-like armrests flank the red-upholstered seats. Behind them, a woman in white with an orange shawl and two people in orange robes stand near a white backdrop. A banner with temple imagery is visible at left. The man is an appearance-based candidate for the teacher, shown with a long swept-back hairstyle, pink flower garland and ceremonial gold-toned seating, but the appearance is not conclusive. This appears to be a blessing moment, a sign of an ashram or satsang gathering.2014-05-11
