A flag-hoisting ceremony outdoors beside a white platform. A copper flagstaff with a decorative base and garlands of white and orange marigold is at left. A young man in orange robes with a white and red flower garland stands on the platform, pulling a rope to raise the flag up the pole while looking upward. Behind him a second man in orange robes watches, and a third person in orange kneels at the lower edge of the frame. A palm grove and blue sky fill the background, and a small orange-and-gold ceremonial flag hangs at right.
