In the foreground, a group of young sannyasi-style students in saffron robes, rudraksha malas and white forehead bands sit cross-legged on mats with hands raised in prayer or chanting, with brass lamps and small offering vessels before them. The crowd behind wears mostly white, with some in maroon. Metal stanchions line the aisle at left. A banner on the back wall shows a faded image. The scene resembles a group satsang or puja.
