Most wear white cotton sarees with coloured borders, some with orange or red shawls, and many have white vibhuti or sandalwood marks on their foreheads and rudraksha malas around their necks. Several women clap or raise their palms in devotion, and some smile while listening. Gold and white ID badges hang from some sarees.
