Many devotees in orange and saffron robes sit cross-legged on the ground facing a raised platform; several are seen from behind, some with hair in buns or braids, garlands of orange flowers, and one woman in white. On the platform, two saffron-robed men sit at a low table with fruit and offerings, while another figure in white stands at left near a cart. Behind them stands a large elaborate deity murti in a decorated alcove with flower garlands and a golden shrine. A striped cloth covers the platform, and a video camera on a tripod records the scene at right.2014-10-02October 02 20142014-10-02Outdoor ashram courtyard under a corrugated metal roof with red pillars and a striped banner, where many young boys in saffron-orange and red robes sit cross-legged on a mat facing a raised dais. Behind the dais a large deity murti draped in white and garlanded with flowers stands on a red-draped altar, with a smaller decorated murti to the left. A seated figure in a maroon-red robe sits near the dais, and a white-shirted adult sits at the front left with his back to the camera. Cameras on tripods film the scene, and palm trees and a striped flag banner appear in the background.2014-10-02July 11 20142014-07-11September 09 20142014-09-09A photograph of a ritual in an open-sided temple pavilion with grey stone pillars and orange curtains. In the centre, a man in orange robes with long hair sits on a red cushioned golden throne with his hands joined in prayer, appearance consistent with a person given his saffron robe and seated position of honour. Behind him stand two ornate deity murti decorated with flower garlands. Around him, a group of seated priests in white dhotis and shawls, some with shaved heads, perform puja with brass vessels, trays and plates of offerings and ritual items on red and orange mats. A standing priest in white stands at the right edge, and women in white and yellow saris sit at the right side with offering trays.2010-09-08July 11 20142014-07-11
