Several hold up brass or metal horns and conch-like wind instruments to their lips or raised in their hands, appearing to perform a temple ritual or ceremonial music. Most wear rudraksha beaded malas, and some have red or white vibhuti or kumkum marks. A chain-link fence runs across the foreground.2013-10-21February 27 20142014-02-27October 14 20132013-10-14Photograph of a large tiered stepped amphitheatre of red brick filled with many rows of small dark stone shivalinga-style pedestals. Thirty or more young students in orange and maroon robes sit cross-legged on the pedestals, many playing small handheld instruments, with a few in red garments at the lower left. A white railing divides the seating from a black-lined sunken pit below, and potted plants line the lower right. A camera on a tripod stands at the left edge. Pink and orange garlands hang along a fence at the top. No individual is clearly identifiable as a specific figure.2013-07-08A photograph of a red-tiered stadium-style seating area filled with rows of seated people in saffron and orange robes, many with shaved or closely cropped heads, sitting cross-legged behind black stone pedestals topped with small brass vessels and oil lamps. Lower rows show people in deep red-maroon robes seated at similar pedestals. A white metal railing runs across the foreground, and potted plants sit at the lower right. The scene suggests an organized group satsang or ritual gathering, with the people arranged in orderly lines facing forward.2013-06-17February 27 20142014-02-27Photo 11737497September 19 20162016-09-19 +1 copiesJuly 07 20142014-07-07December 03 20162016-12-03
