Outdoor photograph of a large black stone Shivling standing on a square raised platform in a reflecting pool, with a red and white striped base and a garland of multicoloured flowers draped on the lingam. Red-tiered stone seating rises on both sides, with a few small groups of people in orange and white robes standing on the upper steps and a stairway leading up the tiers. Several white-clad figures sit along the left seating area. Potted plants with red celosia flowers line the water's edge in the foreground, and a red-brick building with many windows stands at the upper right under a hazy sky.

A garland of multicoloured flowers is draped over the top of the lingam. Rows of empty red-tiered stone seating surround the water, and a red multi-storey building stands behind. Several saffron-robed monks stand on the stepped walkway and railings at the left and upper left, with a figure in white at the top. The scene reads as a sacred Shiva lingam abhishekam-style setting rather than a specific ritual.
