January 30 20142014-01-30February 08 20102010-02-08Framed portraits displayed on a dark wooden shelf against a pale pink wall. Several framed illustrations show a bearded man in a saffron-orange turban and orange garment with a pink and white garland, smiling and gesturing. A larger framed photograph in the left column shows a figure in a pink-orange turban with a red bindi. Smaller framed images show a seated deity in orange tones on a throne. A strand of yellow, white and green flower garland hangs at the left edge. The portraits are printed images, not physical people, and no living person is present in the scene. Descriptions of the depicted individuals here refer only to printed likenesses.2016-12-06A photo inside a book shop with wooden shelves filled with books and a framed picture of a deity on the upper left wall. A man in a saffron-red wrap with a red tilak on his forehead gestures with his hand while speaking. In the foreground at right, a man in orange robes with hoop earrings holds a DSLR camera on a small tripod. At left, another man in orange robes with shaved head and glasses stands reading a book. A figure in red and gold attire stands in the background near a glass-fronted shelf. The scene shows a bookshop with several people in orange and red clothing.2014-01-30Interior room with white walls and orange trim, a bookshelf visible through a doorway, and a metal shelf holding bananas. Framed portraits hang on the wall: a black-and-white photo of a person in a turban above a colour portrait labelled with a name, plus framed prints of a robed figure and a turbaned man on a small table. A garland of yellow flowers hangs on a black-and-white framed picture. Three people stand at the left and centre: a person with long dark hair and a red garment with orange bangles at left, a person in an orange wrap beside them, and a bald man in a saffron-orange robe with glasses at right. a person is the bald man in saffron robes with glasses, but the visible cues are limited, so identity remains uncertain.2014-07-02 +1 copiesAugust 06 20092009-08-06A bookshop interior with wall racks displaying rows of booklets and DVD cases, many with blue and white covers showing portraits of a saffron-robed figure wearing a red-and-orange turban and ochre clothing. A woman in a cream sari with a gold border reaches to a rack and handles an item. In the foreground, an older woman with grey hair in a braid wears a maroon sari with gold trim, and another woman in an orange top stands beside her. A man in a white shirt stands in the background near shelves of packaged goods. Several orange cloth-wrapped bundles hang from the rack.2014-08-24Indoor photo of a bookshop or gallery with a cream block wall and orange-trimmed display racks holding many framed prints and CD/DVD-style cases, most showing saffron-robed figures with white or orange turbans and rudraksha malas. On the right, a person in an orange-saffron robe with a long rudraksha mala stands and looks toward two visitors at left: an older person with grey hair in a white garment and a woman with dark hair in a white top with a shoulder bag, seen from behind. Several more racks of covers stretch along the back wall. The cover images are depictions, not physical people; the physical people count is three.2006-07-25September 20 20062006-09-20June 23 20142014-06-23 +1 copiesA figure in an orange saffron robe with a long dark rudraksha mala hanging to the waist stands in a bookshop, looking down at a glass display case.
