A photograph inside a decorated hall with draped fabric ceiling and colourful striped pillars. A bare-chested man with swept-back dark hair, a vertical forehead mark, a rust-orange shawl and a dense ceremonial gold and beaded necklace stands at right, smiling and extending his hand toward a woman in a maroon blouse holding a white plastic bag. Around them, a man in a white shirt on the left, a bald man in a grey kurta, a young boy in white, and attendants in white dhotis are present. A deity murti and floral decorations appear in the background.2013-04-07A photograph inside a bright hall with ceiling fans, tube lights and pink walls. In the right foreground a man with long dark hair, a rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold necklace, wearing a red and saffron-orange shawl over a bare chest, smiles while handing a red apple and fruit from a silver tray to a woman in a cream sari with a pink border. Probable Swamiji (long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala, saffron and red shawl, ornate gold necklace) is making the offering. Around them stand a man in white with glasses, an elderly man in white with a sandal mark, and other devotees in white shirts and saris.2013-09-15June 04 20132013-06-04October 26 20132013-10-26June 20 20132013-06-20October 26 20132013-10-26November 20 20102010-11-20April 13 20132013-04-13June 26 20142014-06-26A photograph of a satsang hall with a ceiling canopy and colourful pillar drapes. A smiling man with a tilak on his forehead, wearing a rust-orange dhoti and shawl and a long orange beaded mala with large gold beads, rests his right hand on the head of a boy in a white shirt and rudraksha mala, who holds his palms together in namaskar. Behind them devotees in white and orange clothing stand with folded hands, a woman in white watches, and a man in a red shawl smiles. At right a person in white dhoti holds a tray. Framed deity images hang on the walls. The man's appearance with a long swept hair, ornate gold mala and orange robe is consistent with a person, shown giving blessings to a child.2013-04-07A photograph inside a hall with a white tented ceiling and colourful woven pillars with tassels. A man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing an orange saffron robe and a long rudraksha mala, stands at centre-right and receives a small offering or paper from a woman in a pink patterned sari, while holding a silver tray. A woman in a cream and orange sari with a mala and glasses, and a woman in orange, stand with hands folded in namaste. Two shaven-headed men in orange robes stand behind and to the right, one wearing gold necklaces. An older woman in a beige and black top with folded hands stands at far left. Swamiji (probable) is the man with long hair and rudraksha mala, identified by appearance cues including swept-back hair, saffron robe and mala.2011-02-02A photograph inside an ornate room with red-brown curtains, a framed deity picture on the wall and an air conditioner at right. A figure with long swept-back dark hair and a dark, painted forehead wears a red-and-orange shawl over a saffron-brown garment, with a heavy gold necklace of coin-like pendants and gold armlets. He reaches out to a man in white clothes with a garland of white and red flowers and rudraksha beads, who holds his hands together. Around them stand shaved-headed young men in orange robes with rudraksha malas, men in white shirts and beads, and women in colourful saris, one in yellow holding a fruit. The scene suggests a devotee's home visit with a ritual greeting, a Pada Puja-style reception, though the figure's appearance is consistent with a person based on his swept hair, gold necklace and saffron-toned clothing, with his role shown as the figure being honoured and greeted.2014-06-21 +1 copies
