A photograph of a man in a saffron-orange wrap standing in profile beside a large banyan tree with thick hanging aerial roots. He has long, swept-back black hair and is bare-chested above the wrap, with an ornate silver-coloured staff or crutch held under his arm. He leans in and touches the tree trunk with his right hand, eyes lowered, in a reverent gesture. Green leaves and sky are visible at the upper right. Appearance cues match a person (long hair, saffron clothing, distinctive adornments), so a person is set to unsure. One person is visible.2006-10-07A photograph of a man with long dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead leaning his head and folded hands against the trunk of a large banyan-type tree with aerial roots. He wears an orange saffron wrap draped over one shoulder, leaving the other shoulder bare, with rudraksha-style beaded necklaces and a beaded armlet. Several thin aerial roots and a grey stone slab sit beside him in a shaded outdoor setting. The figure has distinctive long hair, saffron clothing and beaded adornments, consistent with a person presence, though the appearance is only partly clear from this angle.2011-10-16November 02 20112011-11-02A photograph of a person in an orange sleeveless robe standing beside a large banyan tree, face turned toward the trunk with eyes closed, one hand resting on the bark. Long dark hair falls over the shoulders, and beaded rudraksha-style malas hang from the wrist. Sandy ground and a low wall are visible in the background. The appearance shows long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and malas, which are cues for the a person candidate, so this is a probable in-person depiction, though the face is not clearly distinct enough to be certain.2008-01-17November 17 20112011-11-17November 05 20112011-11-05A photograph of a single standing man in an orange-saffron dhoti and matching shoulder wrap with gold-coloured borders, leaning his body against a large banyan tree trunk with many hanging aerial roots. He wears a rudraksha mala, a gold armband and bangles, and has long dark hair swept back, with his eyes lowered in a quiet, devotional posture. Behind him are green trees and a brick wall, and light falls through the foliage onto the bark. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable), in person, based on long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha mala.2011-11-09October 07 20062006-10-07A night photograph of a man in a saffron-orange wrap standing beside a large pale banyan-type tree with thick aerial roots and trunk. He has long, swept-back dark hair, bare shoulders, and his eyes are closed with a serene expression, one hand resting against the trunk. Dark foliage fills the background. The light is dim and the image is slightly blurred.2006-12-10October 20 20112011-10-20December 02 20092009-12-02A photograph of a man in profile leaning his head and forehead against the trunk of a large banyan-type tree with aerial roots. He has long, dark, swept-back hair, wears an orange-saffron shawl draped over his shoulders and bare upper body, multiple rudraksha malas and a gold ceremonial necklace, and a gold armlet on his upper arm. His eyes are closed and he appears to be in a moment of quiet devotion or meditation, with his right hand resting on the bark. Green foliage and soft blurred background surround him.
