December 20 20182018-12-20Devotees are served food at a long buffet line under a white tent decorated with hanging colourful tassels and lanterns. Several men in saffron and orange robes, with white hair nets, serve from steel containers and trays of prepared dishes. Some wear white and yellow cloth draped over their shoulders and rudraksha malas. Women in red and white saris and maroon garments receive food in steel plates and bowls, and a woman in the foreground wears a red bindi and a white shawl. Stainless steel vessels and stacked brass plates sit on the counter.2018-12-26A crowded festival scene under a white tent with colourful striped umbrellas overhead. In the foreground a bare-chested man with a long swept-back hair, an orange-red turban, a gold-and-bead necklace and gold armlets stands at a long clear serving counter of food trays filled with rice. Beside him a man in a white kurta wears a red rudraksha mala and serves from the counter, while a woman in an orange sari with a rudraksha mala and red bindi stands nearby. Other devotees in white and saffron dress crowd behind, and a camera operator films at the right. The swept-back-hair and turban figure shows a person cues, but his role is a server-like figure at the food line.2016-12-08Annadhan in 20152015-01-01 +1 copiesDecember 08 20162016-12-08July 07 20152015-07-07 +2 copiesJuly 07 20152015-07-07A buffet serving line in a bright hall with hanging paper lanterns and a framed portrait of a deity on the wall. In the foreground, a man with a long red-and-maroon turban and gold-trimmed ornamental necklace stands at a long clear acrylic serving counter filled with steel trays of yellow rice. Across the counter, a man in white kurta with a red bead mala serves food. Behind them, devotees in white, orange and saffron clothes crowd close, and a cameraman in white dhoti films the scene. The turbaned figure has distinctive long hair, turban and gold adornments, but identity remains uncertain from appearance alone.2016-12-08January 31 20162016-01-31December 18 20162016-12-18
