March 21 20142014-03-21A photograph of a man in a rust-orange robe with a rudraksha mala and a white-and-red forehead mark placing his right hand on the forehead of a seated devotee in a white kurta. The devotee kneels with palms pressed together, eyes closed. A gold kalasha-style vessel sits at the lower left, a framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure hangs at upper right, and red and gold cushions line the floor behind them.2014-03-21A seated man in a rust-orange and gold-bordered sannyasi garment with long swept-back hair, a white vibhuti line on his forehead and a gold bead necklace touches the forehead of a kneeling devotee in a white shirt with palms pressed together. The guru wears a gold wristwatch and rudraksha-style beads on a gold necklace, while a woman in white and red sits behind the devotee. Red drapes and a projection screen fill the background.2014-01-02November 06 20112011-11-06A seated man in a rust-red shawl and bare chest, with a white vertical tilak, a red dot on his forehead, a long white flower garland with red and yellow blooms, and a rudraksha mala, places his right hand on the head of a kneeling man in glasses and a white shirt. Behind them stand a gilded throne-like seat, a tall silver staff with a finial, and a framed painting on a wall. A golden lion-head ornament appears at lower left. The scene suggests a blessing or initiation moment.2014-05-13November 06 20112011-11-06A photograph of a seated figure with a swept-back dark hair, white vibhuti horizontal marks and a red kumkum dot on the forehead, bare-shouldered and wearing a deep red shawl with gold border and a long gold-beaded necklace. He reaches to touch the crown of a man kneeling in front of him; the man wears a white kurta, a thin gold chain, and has his palms pressed together in namaskar. Behind them stand a golden lion-headed throne armrest, orange and blue drapes, and a garland of yellow and red flowers. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long swept-back hair, a ceremonial gold necklace and a shawl, matching the cues for the page's named teacher, so the appearance is consistent with that identity in person.2013-11-11A photograph of a man with swept-back dark hair, white tripundra marks and a red bindi, wearing a red and gold striped shawl and a heavy gold bead necklace, reaching both hands to the head of an older grey-haired man in a white shirt who bows forward. The setting shows a blurred backdrop with a large painted image and a red-cushioned seat at left.2011-11-06May 11 20142014-05-11A photograph of a seated man in a reddish-brown robe with a gold-bordered yellow sash and a beaded rudraksha-style necklace placing his right palm on the forehead of an older man in a white kurta who kneels before him, bowing his head. The robed man has long dark hair swept back into a bun, and the setting is an indoor hall with beige walls, a golden ceremonial vessel and a peacock-feather fan at the lower left. Other people in orange and white clothing sit or stand in the background. The gesture resembles a blessing. The page indicates this is a Haridwar satsang, but the robed man's appearance shows only some cues, so the identity is uncertain.2014-03-21November 06 20112011-11-06A seated figure with long swept-back dark hair, a red hair tie, a gold bead necklace and a red-orange cloth wrapped around the waist extends his right hand to bless a man in a white kurta with a red-orange shawl, who stands with palms pressed together and eyes closed. Behind them are a golden lion-face throne armrest, a golden cobra-hood carved support, a tall silver staff with a dark twisted shaft, and red draped curtains. The scene shows a blessing given in a ceremonial hall, with the seated figure as the a person by his hair, ornaments and saffron-toned clothing.2014-07-24
