October 26 20102010-10-26 +1 copiesA man in orange saffron robes sits cross-legged with eyes closed in meditation on a woven mat atop a circular stone platform. He wears a long rudraksha mala and a red bindi, hands clasped in his lap. Behind him stands an orange-painted shrine with a black stone Nandi bull garlanded with marigold and multicoloured flower strands. A brass kalasha/pot sits to his left, and palm trees and stone figures surround the courtyard. The seated man is an appearance-based candidate for a person, but his features and cues are not distinctive enough to confirm, so the identity is unsure.2010-10-25A photograph of a man with long swept-back dark hair sitting cross-legged in meditation on a low wooden seat over a woven mat, eyes closed and hands resting in his lap.
