Outdoor ceremonial scene under a white canopy with red and yellow fabric trim. Two saffron-robed monastics hold a brass oil lamp (aarti) wrapped in orange marigold garlands, with white flowers on top and green leaves at the base. The monastic on the right wears a saffron robe and shawl, white tripundra on the forehead, and a beaded mala. Beside them, a man in a white dhoti and gold-bordered shawl stands with hands folded in namaskar, and another man in white shirt and dhoti stands at the right edge. Other saffron-clad figures stand behind. Possible a person cues include the saffron robe and beaded adornments on the right-hand figure, but the appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm.

Outdoor ceremony under a decorated canopy with white fabric, red and yellow drapes and fairy lights. A standing man in white dhoti and shawl with white hair and glasses reaches toward a large brass lamp with a flower garland, guided by a saffron-robed monk in a red-banded turban-like head covering with a crystal mala. Beside them a bald, bearded monk in orange robes and a shorter priest in orange stand near the lamp. Other men in white shirts and glasses and monks in orange robes with tilak and vibhuti surround the lamp. Marigold garlands hang from the lamp stand, and green leaves rest at its base. This appears to be a lamp-lighting ritual, with an oil lamp being lit.
