In the foreground a man in white clothing pours liquid from a vessel over a white statue of a deity murti, with a second deity figure in red and gold visible beside it. Behind them is an ornate gold and red shrine with decorative arches and a large framed portrait on the wall. A banner with Tamil lettering runs across the top. The man is the only physical person visible, so the scene is a temple-style puja with a deity murti being bathed.2015-05-05April 07 20122012-04-07 +2 copiesA white marble statue of a seated sage with flowing hair and robes is being bathed by a stream of water poured from above. In the foreground, a red garment belonging to a standing figure is partly visible at the upper left. A small golden stepped pyramid stands on a wooden base at the lower left, and a small brown wooden figurine of a standing deity stands at the right beside an iron railing. The background is blurred and reddish. No living person is clearly visible apart from the red-clad figure's garment.2011-03-03July 17 20122012-07-172011 -eNMiracles Collections +1 copiesMay 10 20122012-05-10 +1 copiesA photograph of an indoor ritual in a plain white-walled hall. Central figure in an orange-red robe with a sash stands before an altar, facing a group of men. Two shaved-headed priests in white dhotis and bare upper bodies stand nearby. Several men in white dhotis and orange shawls stand in a row on the right, some holding objects. A pale pillar and small altar stand at the left edge, and bells or drums may be visible near the centre.2012-05-07A photograph of a fire ritual at night. A shaved-headed man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl stands at the left, raising a vessel high above his head toward a fire, with white smoke rising around him. Beside him, a second man in a white dhoti sits at a low platform with brass vessels, plates of offerings and a metal bowl. Blue-clad figures and a deity murti or ceremonial item are partly visible at the right, with a small lamp and additional items nearby. This appears to be a homa or yagna with an abhishekam-style pouring offering.2020-08-07
