June 12 20142014-06-12Outdoor procession with a smiling man at the centre wearing a rust-red robe, long rudraksha mala necklaces and a thick garland of yellow marigolds, white and pink flowers and green leaves. He has white vertical forehead markings and a red dot, and long dark hair. Around him stand young men in orange-saffron robes with white forehead paste and beaded necklaces; one holds a tall golden staff topped by a red canopy. Yellow flowering shrubs and a pink wall form the background.2018-01-15 +1 copiesA photograph of an outdoor ceremony. In the centre, a man with a white forehead band, red-brown ochre robe and long rudraksha mala stands with a white-and-pink flower garland, hands extended over a stone-topped offering basin with smoke rising. Behind him a young woman in a red dress with gold sash plays a long brass horn, and a boy in an orange-saffron robe with rudraksha beads holds a small brass vessel. Other attendants in white dhotis, orange robes and white forehead marks stand nearby, some holding ritual items, and a man in an orange turban is visible in the background. The a person label is probable: the central figure has a long swept-back hairstyle, a red-brown robe and rudraksha beads with a garland, though the cues are moderately distinctive. The image is a photograph of real people at an outdoor ritual.2014-06-12June 19 20142014-06-19October 31 20142014-10-31December 02 20172017-12-02November 26 20142014-11-26November 26 20142014-11-26July 22 20132013-07-22Outdoor procession photo. A man with long dark hair swept back, wearing a maroon-red sleeveless drape with a gold-and-brown sash, stands at the centre wearing a long garland of white jasmine strands with yellow and red flower clusters plus a gold disc-bead necklace. Behind him a man in a rust-orange shawl holds a long wooden staff with a rudraksha mala, and a golden ceremonial fan or umbrella finial rises at left. Other people in white and cream clothing stand in the background among green foliage. The central figure's appearance and ceremonial garlands with long hair match a person, though this is uncertain from appearance alone.2014-10-05July 22 20132013-07-22June 06 20142014-06-06
