A photograph of a homa fire ritual at night in an open-air setting. A shaved-headed priest in an orange-brown saffron robe and a rudraksha mala sits on a striped cloth, using a long ladle to pour offerings into a brick-lined fire pit with tall flames. Silver bowls of grains and a small metal kalasha sit nearby. Two men in white clothing with red shawls sit at the left, partly visible, and a chair sits behind them. Sacred ash marks decorate the priest's forehead and arms.

A homa or yagna is being performed at an outdoor fire pit in a garden courtyard. A man in a rust-orange dhoti and shawl with a yellow border sits cross-legged at the front, sprinkling offerings into the flames, with marigold garlands and a brass oil lamp beside him. Behind him, young men in white dhotis and rudraksha malas sit or stand, one wearing a red turban. A yellow ceremonial table and a small framed painting in orange tones are visible at the left, along with a patterned red rug on the right.

A priest in white ritual dhoti and shawl with gold-toned beaded necklace sits cross-legged before a red brick homa fire pit with burning wood and flames, pouring an offering from a long-handled ladle. Nearby stand silver vessels with lids, brass pots, bowls of yellow marigold flowers and offerings on a plate, and a microphone on a stand. Behind him a golden palanquin-style deity seat is draped with green and red silk and garlanded with flowers, beside a stone pillar. Another person in orange robes sits at the left edge. Setting suggests a temple courtyard with an orange-floored area.

A homa fire ritual in progress. A brick-lined fire pit holds flaming wood and ash at the bottom centre. A man in orange cloth sits cross-legged at the front right, pouring from a small vessel into the fire. Behind the fire, a seated man in a long orange robe with a bare upper body and a wide crimson-and-gold sash, adorned with a large gold pendant and a rudraksha-style necklace, sits with hands together. Beside him a man in a purple cloth and ochre dhoti is seated, and further back a man in white stands. On the right, brass lamps, a metal pot and rows of small white packets are arranged on shelves. Woven striped mats in red, green and blue cover the floor.

A shaved-headed priest in white dhoti and shawl with gold-edged border kneels at a square homa fire pit, feeding offerings into flames with a long metal ladle. He wears a gold necklace and a white tilaka on his forehead. Silver pots and a kalasha-style vessel sit on the stone ledge, with green plants and a red-and-white striped wall behind him. Other people are partly visible at the left. This is a fire ritual scene. The priest's identity cannot be determined from appearance.

A shaved-headed priest in a white dhoti and shawl with gold borders sits at a black fire pit, holding a ladle over a flame in a homa or yagna. A gold rudraksha-style mala hangs at his neck and he wears a bracelet. Brass bowls of offerings, yellow flowers, and a kalasha-like vessel sit on the stone ledge. Behind him, musicians play a flute and a drum, and a man in a white shirt and red-and-white lungi stands with hands folded. Orange-red walls and green foliage form the background.

Outdoor ritual scene under a pink and white striped canopy beside a banana grove. A shirtless man with a sacred thread and beaded necklace kneels at a square yellow-painted fire pit filled with a yellow liquid in a silver bowl, raising a small ritual vessel. Beside him a second man in rust-orange robes, a white headband with a red crest, a rudraksha mala and a gold pendant kneels and holds a cup. A third person in orange sits on the steps near a silver lamp stand and a golden-draped throne. Small silver bowls hold kumkum, turmeric and offerings; a fire burns on a small hearth; a silver deity image and silver lamps stand nearby, with a tall silver vessel at right. Persons present appear to be priests performing a fire-ritual.

He wears a gold beaded necklace and gold bangles. Behind him are brass oil lamps, kalasha pots wrapped in netting with mango-leaf and coconut tops, and a pink and blue deity murti garlanded with yellow marigolds. Lit string lights and flowers fill the background.

Behind him stand brass kalashas wrapped in mesh and dressed with mango leaves, a tall brass lamp with a lit flame, and a standing deity murti draped in garlands. Strings of small lights glow in the dark background.

A shaved-headed priest in a rust-red dhoti and upper cloth with gold borders stands at a homa fire pit built of bricks, tending a flame that rises beside a silver bowl. Behind him on a red draped altar stand gilded deity murtis, with a golden canopy above and brass oil lamps flanking the altar. Silver pots, a silver tray of yellow flowers, marigold garlands, and a matchbox sit on the floor, with an ornate silver container at left. The priest holds a ritual vessel aloft toward the murtis.
