A large group of women and girls sit cross-legged on the floor of a hall performing a lamp ritual. Most wear orange, pink, and maroon saris with gold borders and rudraksha malas, and many have white tilak marks on their foreheads. Several hold small oil lamps or brass dishes of offerings, and some raise their hands in a devotional gesture. Rows of plastic chairs and seated devotees fill the background, with flowers and brass vessels placed on trays in front. The scene suggests a group satsang or puja, though the page excerpt names a morning satsang rather than this specific rite.2014-04-04March 26 20132013-03-26September 11 20142014-09-11July 26 20132013-07-26A seated group of young women in maroon and orange-red saris with gold borders performs a lamp ritual, holding small lit oil lamps and flames in their hands.
