September 15 20152015-09-15A large sandstone palace with multi-tiered arched balconies and jharokha-style windows rises above a steep flight of stone steps descending into still water. Stone pillars with ornamental caps flank the steps, and their reflections shimmer on the water surface. A small blue-and-white sign is fixed to the central wall near the steps. The sky is pale and hazy. No people are visible.2004-10-18January 28 20102010-01-28Evening outdoor puja on a lawn in front of an illuminated white colonial-style building with arched windows lit in purple and green. A standing figure with a tall orange turban and a saffron wrap faces the gathering, with a woman in a white sari behind him. Seated in front on mats, several saffron-robed priests tend brass pooja plates and oil lamps set on a cloth. A large crowd of devotees sits on the grass in white clothes with orange shawls, facing the ritual. No candidate can be confirmed from appearance alone, so the central standing figure is described by role only.2014-05-12June 04 20122012-06-04October 27 20152015-10-27May 12 20142014-05-12A photograph of a projected night image on a screen showing an illuminated multi-tiered temple gopuram with three red-and-gold domed spires, its facade outlined in blue and white lights. The projection is blurred and the surrounding room is dark.2009-06-15February 13 20132013-02-13Interior photograph of a multi-storey building with white walls and pink floral plaster relief bands along the balconies. Grey metal balusters and dark wooden handrails line several open balcony levels. Yellow wooden doors open off the corridors, and a staircase rises at the centre. Potted plants stand near the stairs on the lower floor, and a marble-floored hall with an arched opening is visible at the bottom. No people are visible.2008-07-07May 12 20142014-05-12Looking upward through a multi-tier atrium of a building with pale blue walls and pink-and-white ornamental plaster borders. A white chandelier with frosted globes hangs from the top ceiling, surrounded by recessed square plaster panels and downlights. White balusters line open balcony railings on several floors, and yellow-painted doors are visible on the lower levels. No people are visible in the scene.2008-07-07
