A photo of three young men working in an open-sided workshop beside a corrugated metal wall and orange-washed plaster wall. On the left, a man in a red-and-white checked shirt and blue checked lungi sits cross-legged, holding a small yellow object over a clay furnace built from bricks. In the centre, a bare-chested man in a grey-blue shirt and red cloth tends a flame and a rough wooden or metal workpiece on a low metal bench. On the right, a man in a striped purple-and-white shirt and blue lungi works at a metal table, shaping small metal figures laid out in a row, with a small cup, hammer and cloth nearby. Tools, a brick fire setup and a metal pot sit on the ground.

Two men work on the floor of a dusty workshop beside an orange-painted wall and a corrugated metal panel. The man on the left, in a white vest and blue checked lungi, smooths a large grey clay or plaster block with his hands. The man on the right, in a blue checked shirt and lungi, sits crouched beside a dark bowl and a flat board with a low pot of mixed material. Buckets, cement blocks, cloth scraps and wooden planks lie around the floor. No a person candidate is visible.

Three men work sitting on the ground under a corrugated metal roof, shaping metal vessels with hand tools. The man on the left wears a white shirt and dhoti and hammers a large silver-coloured cylindrical piece. The man in the centre wears a white shirt and white dhoti and watches, with a small badge on his shirt pocket. The man on the right wears a purple shirt and checked lungi and holds a shallow silver-coloured bowl. Hand tools, metal rods and a blue bucket lie on a cloth on the ground, and a colourful cloth hangs at the upper right.

Three men sit on the ground in a cluttered, makeshift shed carving a large wooden tortoise sculpture. The man on the left wears a cream shirt and holds the carving with both hands. The man at the top centre wears a white shirt over an orange-brown cloth and carves the shell with a tool. The man on the right wears a striped grey-and-white shirt and steadies the piece. Around them lie cardboard boxes, sacks, a turquoise bucket, scrap wood, sand and debris, with corrugated metal walls behind.

Two men sit cross-legged on a bare concrete floor carving small white figures with hand tools. The man on the left wears a white shirt and dark dhoti-style lungi and strikes a chisel with a mallet. The man on the right wears a white-and-brown checked short-sleeved shirt and holds a small hammer and pointed tool while working on a pale figure resting on a wooden block beside his foot. Wood shavings and scattered chisels lie around them, with a pink mat and a blue-handled tool at left and clothes hanging on a white wall behind.

Three men sit on a floor in a workshop carving white stone or plaster sculpture parts, with golden deity statues on shelves behind them. On the left, an older man with grey hair and glasses, wearing a white shirt and white dhoti with an orange border, holds a chisel and mallet over a wooden block. In the centre, a man in a red-and-white checked shirt and white dhoti works beside a red bucket. On the right, a man in a cream shirt and white dhoti holds a pale carved foot. Tools and wooden sticks lie on the ground in front, and the golden figures on the wall are unfinished-looking sculpture work.

Two men sit barefoot on bare ground working on a metal sculpture. The man on the left wears a white shirt and light blue jeans and uses a chisel-like tool on the metal. The man on the right wears a teal-grey shirt, a mustard-yellow dhoti with yellow border, and a red thread on his wrist, holding a hammer. Behind them sit sacks, copper-coloured pots and other tools on the dusty ground. No deity form is clearly identifiable from this view.
