Sunlight glitters on the rippled water in the foreground. On the left, a dark low rocky bank or sandbar holds a few birds, and small distant silhouetted figures wade in the shallows across the middle distance. No ritual, deity, or a person candidate is visible.2009-01-31A hazy pale sky with a bright sun glowing above a wide, calm river. A flat sandy bank runs along the far shore under distant trees, and sun glints on the water in the foreground. No people, deities or ritual objects are visible. The scene appears to be an open riverside view, with the sun glare and haze dominating the upper frame.2015-10-02June 04 20162016-06-04 +1 copiesA photograph of a hazy sunrise or sunset over a wide river, with the low orange sun sitting just above a distant shoreline. The water in the foreground has gentle ripples reflecting the warm glow. Three small wooden boats are visible on the river, with a few passengers seated in the two farther boats and one figure in the rightmost boat. The sky shades from pale lavender at the top to soft orange near the horizon. No ritual objects, deities, or a person are visible.2015-10-11A woman in an orange-red sari bends forward on a sandy riverbank, touching a grey stone Shivalinga set in a water-washed base at the water's edge. Sunlight glints on the calm river. A driftwood log lies in the shallows, and trees and low vegetation line the hazy far bank. The scene suggests a riverside puja or offering to the Shivalinga.2014-01-06June 02 20162016-06-02October 11 20152015-10-11October 02 20152015-10-02
