A photograph of a ritual gathering in a hall. Two women in white cloth with gold borders and light blue hair nets stand at the center, one holding a silver tray with a lit flame and the other tending it, while a third woman in a white sari stands at right. Seated men in white dhotis with bare upper bodies, some with white and yellow body markings and rudraksha malas, sit on the floor in the foreground and middle, one holding a lamp. Behind them, seated women in saris and dupattas watch from rows of chairs with orange tablecloths, and people sit along the back of the hall. The scene reads as a Maheshwara Puja style fire ritual with oil lamps, with a light rudraksha-malaed man in the middle.

Photograph of a ritual in a tented hall with white draped ceiling and hanging decorations. Two young men in ceremonial dress stand facing each other while one holds a silver tray with a flaming lamp and the other, bare-chested with a rudraksha mala and a wrapped cloth, extends his hand toward the flame. Both have white sacred marks on their bodies. The man on the left wears a white dhoti with a gold border and a radio at his waist. Seated devotees, including a woman in a white head covering, watch from the lower right, and a partition of framed photographs lines the foreground. The scene appears to be an aarti-style offering with lamp flames.

Night procession at a festival with strings of coloured lights in the background. Devotees crowd the street. In the centre, a woman in a rust-orange sari holds a brass plate with a lit oil lamp toward the front, her face lit by the flame, while another woman beside her also raises a hand near the plate. Several women wear rudraksha malas and white-and-gold sari borders. A man with a shaved head and white forehead markings looks up at the left. A woman in white with a gold border stands in the lower left with hands raised in reverence. Long red and white ceremonial poles rise above the crowd. Visible people number roughly 20 to 25, and no one in the image is identifiable as a person.

A large seated gathering of devotees performs a lamp ritual inside a hall. Many men in front wear white dhoti-style cloth with red-striped borders and rudraksha malas around their necks. Several hold up lit oil lamps or diyas, with flames visible in multiple hands, and brass plates with offerings sit on mats in front. Behind them, women in white and coloured saris and salwar kameez sit in rows, also holding small lamps. The lighting is warm and dim, with glowing flames throughout the room, and the atmosphere suggests a collective puja or aarti.
